Contract inclusive of mandate to manage and coordinate all necessary activities for the implementation of the envisaged intervention, namely:

• Surveys and studies
• Detailed project plans
• Technical project studies
• Construction contracts
• Negotiations on land availability (by acquisition / expropriation)
• Communications and environment awareness campaign
• Administration and financial management of the project’s vehicle company

Renewal of public areas:   9,600 sq. metres

City parks:   5,300 sq. metres

Underground parking facilities:   8,500 sq. metres

Buildings (infrastructure / shopping / residential):   187,11 sq. metres

Cycling track extension / Mobile pedestrian bridge:   14,060 m

Executive Summary

Integrated land management intervention at the Matosinhos coastline and urban renewal works to improve urban quality of living and strengthen the role of the area’s environmental features.

To contribute to revitalising Matosinhos as an urban centre playing a relevant role within the structure of the national urban system by consolidating it as a new focal point and a pole of attraction within Porto’s Metropolitan Area.
